applications for residences, commercial and industrial
buildings, garages and car parks, warehouses and sidewalks,

|
|
PREPARATION OF
SURFACE |
1. The concrete on
the surface where Betox Surface Hardener will be applied must
not contain more than 3% air.
2. There must not be any perspiration or segragation on the
concrete, and the concrete must not contain micro silica.
3. The concrete surfaces must be leveled, and vibrated.
4. The water-cement ratio of the concrete must be at least 0.45.
5. Sponge type absorbents must not be used on the surfaces.
|
|
APPLICATION |
1. Depending on
surrounding and the weather conditions, the laying must start
after the concrete sets sufficient to prevent sinking, however,
allowing a foot print of 0.5 to 1.5cm depth,
2. Two thirds of the Betox Surface Hardener to be used is spread
on the concrete by hand or material spreader,
3. The material is left to humidify, and the material is
absorbed onto the surface using flat screed,
4. Remained material is spread to the surface and the same
proces is occured.
5. The surface is leveled using steel trowels, or a screed
machine.
6. After completion, the surface must be cured using appropriate
material, and crack inspection joints must be cut and filled
with adequate material.
|
|
